The Cow Head Lobster Festival is one of the events sponsored by the Cow Head Special Events Committee. Since 1980, the Cow Head Lobster Festival has kicked off the summer tourism season in Cow Head, Newfoundland. If you are visiting Gros Morne National Park, or plan to visit in late June or early July, make it a part of your visit to take in the Cow Head Lobster Festival.

Enjoy the lobster dinners at the different venues around town.
Take in local music during one or all of the dances at the local venue.
Enjoy a taste of Newfoundland music and song during the Sunday afternoon talent show.
Take in some of the fun events during the ongoing fun events throughout the festival.
Enjoy an evening at the Gros Morne Theatre.
Enjoy a musical Friday afternoon with members of the Gros Morne Theatre Festival.
Take in some of the local attractions such as the Shallow Bay Beach or the Cow Head Lighthouse.
Visit the Dr Henry Payne Museum for a taste of local culture and history.
Stop by any of the local restaurants and enjoy a relaxing meal.
